The Poker Tracker Experience--Week One

I figure that the best way to evaluate myself as a player is to use the tool everyone's talking about. Poker Tracker, for those who have NOT been initiated, or have been sleeping under a rock for the last 2 years, is a program that takes your downloaded hand histories and presents them to you in statistical form, both for you (to help your game), and for players you have played against (to help you find the fishies).

I'll spare you the informational tutorial, and we'll just say it gets two fins up. I've used it for a week and I've learned more about my game than I ever could have wthout it.

Pimping time...

...pimping over--now to the info everybody's been looking for.

After one week of using Poker Tracker, here are my vitals, playing the 1/2 at Stars:

Hands Played: 1,779
VP$IP: 21.47
PF Raise: 6.13%
BB/100 Hands: 5.52
Aggression Factor (w/o Pre-Flop Info): 2.54

According to bisonbison's rules (from Two Plus Two), I rate as a moneybag (Tight Aggressive/Aggressive).

I've mucked out a total of $196.25 in winnings in my first week of 1/2 limit.

Not too shabby, eh?
